Application Setup

Each time the DPS PocketFlash™ application is started, the startup routines verify that all files, folders and database components required by the application exist on the device.  The Application Setup window is displayed when the startup routines determine that one or more of the required elements is missing.

Under normal circumstances, the Application Setup window is displayed because:

1. This is the first time DPS PocketFlash™ has been run on this device.
2. A new version of the application has been installed on the device and the newer version requires that additional elements be created.
3. An import file has been placed in the device's \My Documents folder and the file needs to be processed.

Actions

• Tap to start the setup processing.  A completion message is displayed when the processing has finished.  If any additional processing is required after setup has finished (such as logon or synchronization), the appropriate windows will be automatically displayed.
• Tap to skip the setup processing and quit the application.  The next time the application is started, this window will once again be displayed.
  • Access to the application's main functions is not permitted until after the setup processing has been performed.
