Set Logon User

The Set Logon User window is where you identify yourself to the application.  The data that is sent to your device during synchronization is based on the value you set here and the value set for device id. The entered user id must match the id of a predefined sales rep user on the server; however, the application does not attempt to validate your entry until an actual sync with the server is attempted. A logon user id must be established in order to perform any other application functions.  Until an initial logon occurs, the only functions available on the Functions Menu are Set Logon User and Exit. CAUTION:  In order to change the current logon user id, all data currently in the device database must be deleted.  A sync with the server must then be performed to obtain data that is suitable for the new user id.
